to upgrade their peer-to-peer, 20 node network to a secure Windows 2003 domain
environment. In their previous environment, the Anti-Virus protection was not managed;
Windows updates were determined by the end-user; e-mails were not centralized in one
location; and there were no system-wide backups in place. Air Freight Plus now operates
in a secure environment with a centralized e-mail repository that utilizes MS Exchange
2007. All Anti-Virus efforts are managed for the entire organization from one server,
and Windows updates are automatically downloaded and deployed over the entire network
weekly. In addition, Microsoft's security policies have allowed Air Freight Plus to
effectively protect their investment by limiting end users from making unauthorized
changes on their systems.
Air Freight Plus also upgraded their ERP system from UNIX to Microsoft SQL Server
platform. Their ERP upgrade afforded them with the opportunity to utilize new features
that were not available on their older systems.
Air Freight's new systems have streamlined their efforts internally and provided their
customers with readily available access to information needed daily. As an added peace
of mind, their systems and end user data are backed up every night to multiple locations.

Mount Vernon Financial Services LLC of Baltimore, MD chooses Dresner Group LLC
to help facilitate their office move and implement Small Business Server 2003 R2. The
previous computing environment at Mount Vernon Financial Services was a scenario that we
frequently encounter. The network topology is what's referred to as a peer-to-peer
network, which is where one computer is used to access client records, while another
computer is used to access QuickBooks data. A third computer is then used to access the
Internet and e-mails. However, none of the computers could perform the same function--the
gap in work flow was obvious. Another missing component was an effective backup solution
that would protect their data.
DG provided all wiring services for their new office, as well as all new equipment. Mount
Vernon now operates using Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 R2. With SBS 2003, they're
now able to share data in a secure manor across the network, utilize network print features,
and take advantage of MS Exchange 2003. All of their workstations run Microsoft Windows
XP Professional with Office 2003 SMB. Microsoft SBS has also provided Mount Vernon
Financial Services with the ability to work remotely. Mount Vernon is also utilizing
Blackberry Enterprise Server, which manages and connects the client's blackberry devices
to their internal messaging system. They are using Symantec Backup Exec for nightly
backups to multiple locations.
Because of the technology upgrades the Mount Vernon team has been able to leverage
themselves and their organization using current technologies, which results in higher
efficiency and better customer service.

to enhance their IT infrastructure by building a scalable platform that would fit
well with their corporate growth model. Their former IT environment consisted of 1 SBS
2003 Premium Edition server and 30 workstations utilizing Windows 2000 Professional and
Windows XP Professional. The single SBS server was handling requests for file and print
sharing, e-mail, SQL, virus protection, backups and much more. The combined network
traffic and requests were enough to slow their systems to an unusable state.
While Plastic Surgery Specialists continues to run on SBS 2003, they've also added 3
additional servers to offload some of the responsibilities held by the SBS server. Their
workstations have been updated to meet today's technology standards and the executive
members can now work remotely with ease. Most importantly, their backups are more
reliable than ever proven by performing occasional data restoration jobs.
These IT enhancements have resulted in faster response times during the day-to-day work
efforts, hardware redundancy to prevent vulnerability and more up time than ever before.
